My name is RobynJ, i am based in Greymouth. I’ve been knitting since I was 14, inspired by the women who shaped my world, being my older sister and my mother. Crochet came later, something I taught myself out of curiosity and a desire to expand what my hands could create.

Shawls, baby knits, and cosy adult jerseys are my favourite projects. I love the entire process: choosing colours, feeling the yarn take shape, and watching a garment grow stitch by stitch. There’s a deep satisfaction in seeing a finished piece that began as nothing more than an idea and a ball of wool.

Knitting is my calm place. It’s a relaxing, rewarding hobby that has stayed with me throughout my life, and I’m grateful for every garment it’s allowed me to bring into the world.
